“The Premiere Theatre Company” is a new amateur theatre group, dedicated to unearthing new talent, (and some older). The company offers opportunities, not only for musical theatre performers, but also for directors, choreographers, writers, composers, instumentalists, and of course the lighting/sound operators. The company strives to showcase newer musicals that are not commonly known. We hope in the near future the company will be able to perform musicals that our own members have written and composed. All work with the company is voluntary as all proceeds (after costs) go to charity.
Upcoming Auditions:
BAT BOY: the musical
Auditions for The Premiere Theatre Company’s production of “BAT BOY” will be held soon. We are looking for a cast of 10. To perform it well we will have to work hard so we need the people we cast to be committed to rehearsals, if you are unable to make a rehearsal we will need at least two weeks notice so as we can reschedule the rehearsal at a time that all people needed can make it there. Audition application forms are available from the company via email. Applicants under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian sign the forms, as well as signing it themselves.
If you are not given the role you wished but still given a role and do not wish to accept it, please notify us as soon as you decide this so as the role can be re-cast. If you do not notify us within a week we will assume that you are happy to portray the role. We would also much appreciate it if you informed us if you are happy to accept the role. You can do all of this via email.
A band is also needed so if you know anyone who would possibly be prepared to play in the orchestra please give us an email address or phone number of that person/s. We need the following instruments:
